iSavingsSimu

iSavingsSimu is a Savings Calculator Application available on AppStore that allows you to simulate a savings plan and offers a lot of functionalities.
It allows you to computes the compounded interests from a starting amount and eventually including monthly savings amount,
- offers detailled graphics,
- allows you to save your favorite savings simulation,
- associate a picture for each savings simulation and even send the details by email.
Improvements will be made on-demand, and you will be able to freely upgrade to newer versions.

The first view invites you to specify the data for your savings: Specify the starting amount savings simulation (make it 0 if there is no starting mount), specify the duration either in months or in years (use the toggle switch), specify the interests rate and the monthly additional savings you would like to add to your account (make it 0 if you just want to copute the compound interests of that starting amount).
Once done touch the "Simulate tota savings with interest" button. The total interest and total amount available on our savings plan will be computed and displayed. The pie chart showing the poucentage of total interests and capital will be displayed.
Note that the chart generation requires a data connection (either phone data connection or Wifi).

After touching the "Details" button a second view will be displayed providing the savings plan table: for each month, it gives the exact amount that was invested, the total interest accumulated and the total amount available up to that month.

Selecting "Send" in the previous view allows you to send the details of the savings:
Note that:
- If you have an Email account set-up on your iPhone, you will be able to send the savings table and the charts (the capital/interests pie chart). Also after sending the email, you will be returned to the amortization table view.
- If you do not have an Email account set-up on your iPhone, you will "only" be able to send the savings table and the application will be exited when accessing to the mail application.
Therefore it is preferable to have an Email account set-up on your phone.

From the first view, after having simulated a savings, one can also save this savings simulation by selecting the "save" button in the top navigation bar.
A new view will show up and the user can add additional information such as associate a name to the savings plan, specify the name of the bank and select a loan type (housing, car, education of just other reason of the savings).
iSavingsSimu is also the only application allowing to associate an image to the savings.
Note that if you don't wish to associate a picture a default one will be put for you that corresponds to the savings type.
After slecting save, wait until you get the confirmation message, you can then return to the main view.

From the main view one can also access the favorites savings by selecting the "saved loans" button.
The savins will be displayed by category, and you can scroll up or down on the list of savings. Note that if you select one savings, the savings table will be displayed.
Also note that to delete one savings you have to slide on the line from left to right or right to left.

By selecting the "i" button (information button), you will be able to get basic information on the application. From this view you can directly access to this web site by selecting the PhoneAppsID button.
